Understanding human mobility and the behaviour that shapes it is key to exploring how people interact with space, society, and the environment. Our research examines mobility from individuals to populations and from daily activity spaces to broader functional regions. We study movement patterns in diverse spatial and temporal contexts, from daily commutes to international migration. We are pioneers in activity space–based inequality research.
What affect does organisational culture have? How can we nudge and what interventions are effective?

Spatiotemporal data analysis. Social inequalities in activity space. Functional regions.

Projects
By combining mobility data with environmental factors such as greenery or noise, we assess exposure to environmental benefits and harms.
